Shangri-La Motors, the official distributor for Leapmotor in Nepal, is preparing to launch the brand’s latest EV, the Leapmotor B10, in the Nepali market. The B10 is expected to arrive by August or September, with an estimated price tag of under Rs 60 lakh—slotting it below the already available C10.
Built on the new LEAP 3.5 intelligent platform, the B10 is a compact five-seater SUV that rivals models like the BYD Atto 3, Proton eMas 7, Tata Curvv Ev, Hyundai Creta Electric, MG S5 EV and others in the segment.
Measuring 4,515 mm in length and offering up to 1,415 litres of cargo space, it balances sleek city-friendly proportions with practicality.
In the international market, the B10 is powered by a 160 kW rear-mounted motor delivering 240 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds—half a second quicker than the larger C10. Two battery options are available: one offering 510 km of range and another extending up to 600 km (CLTC). Both variants support fast charging from 30% to 80% in under 20 minutes.
On the inside, the B10 features a 14.6-inch 2.5K touchscreen with Leapmotor OS 4.0 Plus, powered by Snapdragon chips (either 8155 or 8295A, depending on variant). It also introduces large language model AI assistants for hands-free queries, and comes with conveniences like a 12-speaker audio system, panoramic sunroof, fold-down cupholders, ambient lighting, and a uniquely modular dashboard for customizable accessories.
What truly sets the B10 apart in its price segment is its availability with LiDAR-based autonomous driving features. The high-spec variants include Hesai Ultra HD LiDAR, multiple radars and cameras enabling Level 2+ autonomous driving, memory parking, and sentry mode. Even the base model is well-equipped with standard safety and driving aids like 540-degree cameras and flat-tire stability control.
As Leapmotor expands globally through its Stellantis joint venture, the B10 is positioned to attract urban and family EV buyers in Nepal looking for a tech-packed electric SUV at an accessible price point.
Stay tuned for updates on its official debut and variant options along with other details.
